ZIMBABWE POLICE ISSUE BAN ON ALL PUBLIC GATHERINGS in order to stem the spread of cholera. The latest cholera outbreak has left 21 people idead in the capital city Harare.

The ban has been announced just a day after the Zimbabwe government declared the outbreak, a national emergency, but government is not saying how long the ban will last.
 
Over ,000 people had been infected by the cholera outbreak, he biggest cholera outbreak since 2008 , in which at least 4,000 people died and over 40,000 people were treated for it. More news to follow. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
