Bribery is recognised worldwide as a perversion of justice, a crime and to the majority, the source of crime, corruption and an endless list of other social evils that bedevil society particularly third world governments. Remember :2 Timothy 3:16-17 ’16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work’.

and a bribe corrupts the heart.’

6-Isaiah 1:17 ‘Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow’

7-Proverbs 21:14 ‘A gift given in secret soothes anger,
and a bribe concealed in the cloak pacifies great wrath.’

8-1 John 3:4 ‘Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness’.

9-Matthew 6:24 ‘No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money’.

10-Deuteronomy 10:17 ‘For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes’.

11-Proverbs 14:31 ‘Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God’.

12-Leviticus 19:15 ‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly’.

13-Amos 5:12 ‘For I know how many are your offenses
and how great your sins. There are those who oppress the innocent and take bribes and deprive the poor of justice in the courts’.

14-Micah 6:8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God
