BREAKING NEWS: ZIMBABWE CONSTITUTIONAL COURT JUDGEMENT:- concourt has duly elected Emmerson Mnangagwa the elction winner of 30 July 2018 of the 30 July 2018 harmonised elections in Zimbabwe and dismissed Chamisa’s application with costs.
On the 30 of July 2018, the new Zimbabwe political dispensation held the long awaited harmonised election in which Emmerson Mnangagwa was declared the winner by Zec, but the MDC ALLIANCE leader, Nelson Chamisa scuppered the inauguration when he declared that he had won the election and Zec was stealing the people’s vote by declaring Mnangagwa the winner yet he, Chamisa had won and the vote was rigged in favour of Emmerson Mnangagwa..
Chamisa drew foreign lawyers to represent him in the con-court but the government denied them work permits and initially stopped them from entering court on 20 August 2018 but later backed down, allowed them in but they were not allowed to represent Chamisa because they had no work permits.
Concourt has ruled that the opposition made general accusation, no proof and the alleged incidents or irregularities did not materially affect the election.
www.newzimbabwevision.com can now tell the world, that he con-court judgement is The MDC ALLIANCE application is dismissed with costs in terms of section 93, subsection 4 of Zimbabwe’s constitution and Emmerson Mnangagwa is duly declared the elction winner of 30 July 2018.
While already Chamisa was speaking out yesterday declaring that he will not accept any decision where he loses, and that he will drag the cae to Sadc and the AU, the nation must wake up and realise that it is in his right to explore the legal avenues at his disposal, but he does not hold the mandate to hold back the nation.
The people must realise that as long as this stalemate continues, Zimbabwe cannot move forward and it is ridiculous that when the Zimbabwe Con court has declared that,…….is the winner of the 30 july 2018 election, Sadc and the AU, which stood aside and did nothing about the deposed former president Robert Mugabe’s oppressive rule and repeated rigging all these years, the old boys clubs of dictators, will somehow turn around and delegitimise Emmerson Mnangagwa’s victory, the same Mnangagwa whom they appointed last week at the 39th Sadc summit in Windhoek Namibia, as the new deputy chair of the Sadc troika on politics, defence and security-wake up Zimbabwe! Chamisa may drag the nation through all legal processes but as a nation we must all accept that part of the suffering that we are heading for, stems from the fact that Nelson Chamisa and Tendai Biti, in January went to the US and asked the US to maintain sanctions upon Zimbabwe.
The US declared recently that the ZiDERA sanctions will be renewed, but lets remeber its the ordinary Zimbabweans who suffere, Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats, Chamisa and Biti will be ok while the ordinary street people suffer even more. We must as a nation, for now , accept what we cannot change, move the nation forward as one, rebuild Zimbabwe, work with Mnagagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts, securocrats and the military for the good of the nation, all our children, black, white, all races, tribes, religions, gender and political orientation and deplete Zanu pf’s ability to win the 2023 ballot by ensuring that we, as opporsition, make inroads into the rural areas, demand demilitarisation of rural areas, depoliticisation of chiefs, Zec, the judiciary and never step into any election without Electoral reforms.
At the moment, Chamisa’s behaviour is becoming selfish because as soon as you declare that you will shut down the capital, everyone on the streets, you become someone who demonstrates total disregard for the rule of law as you say before elections or a con court judgement that you will only accept an outcome where you are the winner, then its clear you have no respect for constitutionalism,..accept defeat, unite the people, uphold peace and all leaders of opposition and ruling party must step forward and speak out as one, call for unity, peace and moving the nation forward,..wake up Zimbabwe!
Chamisa is now facing relegation in the political arena, as he has no room to appeal the concourt decision because it is final. Chamisa is also, by choice, no longer the MDC T leader and so, effectively has no party as things stand. Zanu pf, have always been a tactical group and because they hold the parliamentary majority, a clever politically dominant organisation would permanantly shut down Chamisa diplomatically by swiftly ammending the constitution using their majority.
They have the room to change the minimum age for being apresident from 40 to 55 or even 60 and effectively block Chamisa’s ability to ever become a president for the next 15 to 20 years, thanks to MDC who withdrew Mps from parliament when Tsvangirai stripped Biti and others of their MDC T ticket into MP positions. Hence forth, Zanu pf chopped and changed the constitution at will, and because democracy and respect for the rule of law is what we all seek through Democratic opposition, Chamisa will be shut down without laying a finger on him by the military and Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats,..on this one he dug his own grave by failing to read into politics, warnings that www.newzimbabwevision.com gave out continuously but he was too excited because of the social media followership to his downfall as proven by the court determination that there was no evidence except allegations based on social media,..wake up Zimbabwe!
