MNANGAGWA REWARDS CHIEFS WITH 90 ISUZU VEHICLES as he strategically begins cementing Zanu pf monopoly on wealth and power ahead of 2023 elections, while Zimbabwe has a critical shortage of anti-TB drugs.

Today marked part of the beginning of the fife year mandate to lead Zimbabwe by Zanu pf Stalwart President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who distributed 90 Isuzu vehicles to traditional leaders in Harare today..

Mnangagwa, stayed one step ahead of the MDC Alliance who failed to make inroads into rural areas which were heavily dominated by the deployment of over 2000 soldiers earlier in 2018 across the rural areas by Emmerson Mnangagwa who also at the same time distributed 52 brand new double cab vehicles to chiefs before building and repairing roads from main roads to the numerous chiefs homesteads across Zimbabwe.

Emmerson Mnangagwa claims that the initiative is in line with his promise after taking over power from deposed former President Robert Mugabe in November 2017 that traditional leaders must be respected and must have decent transport and accommodation.

President Mnangagwa, claims he did not deliver on his pledgeearlier as that would have been misconstrued during the harmonised election run up as a Zanu pf vote-buying gimmick.

Chiefs have traditionaly been viewed by Zimbabwe as partisan because of the questionable manner of food distribution and execution of their duties , politicisation of food aid and intimidation of opposition party supporters along with open campaign for the ruling Zanu PF party.

Mnangagwa is also preparing to hold thank you rallies around the country after winning 30 July 2018 harmonised elections and the recent Zimbabwe Constitutional Court case. More news to follow. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
