www.newzimbabwevision says, this has come at agreat time in Zimbabwe, the same day, Monday 24th June 2019 that the Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube has outlawed the use of US Dollar, Rand and all foreign currency as legal tender with effect from today.
The crisis helps to bring to light how much is happening on the ground, already a week after the country has stopped bread production because of the lack of wheat, and fuel queues grow longer daily as the fuel crisis grows, in an nation using unrecognised RTGS for currency, no more valuable than used toilet paper. It follows, as I always say, that the nations must down tools, flood the streets peacefully and make Zimbabwe an ungovernable state. We need to force Mnangagwa’s militarised Zanu pf regime to come to the negotiating table and work together with opposition to bring about radical change and rebuild the economy, as Zimbabwe is clearly a failed state.
