ZIMBABWE WOES CONTINUE AS DESPERATE CHAMISA says ‘we are ready to sacrifice their lives in defending people’s votes’ and lodges his petition with the African Commission for Human and People’s Rights (ACHPR) otherwise known as the Banjul Commission

MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa who is continuously pursuing all legal and political remedies at his disposal to overturn President Emmerson Mnangawa’s electoral victory has now lodged his petition to the African Commission for Human and People’s Rights (ACHPR) otherwise known as the Banjul Commission after the Constitutional Court (ConCourt) dismissal of his petition on Friday.
According to Nelson Chamisa the ACHPR has the power to declare human rights violations and use that to overturn Emmerson Mnangagwa’s victory in his Chamisa’s favour. Chamisa is clearly deliberately inflicting suffering upon Zimbabwe, because he and Tendai Biti went to the USA in January 2018 and demanded that sanctions should be maintained upon Zimbabwe,….USA listened and recently issues the ammended Zidera bill extending sanctions against Zimbabwe, but who will suffer,..not Chamisa or Biti, but the ordinary street people of Zimbabwe who fail to see how selfish this is,..wake up Zimbabwe!
 
“The grounds of the petition are based on the flagrant and multiple violations of the universal human rights of the voters and people of Zimbabwe by the current Zimbabwean regime and the ConCourt including the right to free and fair elections, right to a fair hearing before an impartial court, right to legal representation by counsel of choice, right against undue political interference and the right to be governed by a legitimate government,” he said. At this rate, Zimbabwe will continue to suffer from total instability as to some people, Chamisa is now clearly being selfish and failing to realise that Zimbabwe is bigger than him, so he continues to drag the nation through the mud, cklearly its my way or the highway!.
 
Its clear that Zanu pf is regrouping as the deposed former president Robert Gabriel Mugabe who since his downfall in November 2017, for the first time, endorsed and congratulated his successor President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa on his 30 July 2018 election victory.
 
This therefore is the most powerful indicator, to powerful African bodies such as Sadc, AU, and African Commission for Human and People’s Rights (ACHPR), that all is in order. Chamisa is only going to cost the nation with further instability as foreign in vestors will continue to avoid investing in Zimbabwe, and Zimbabwe will continue to be sidelined from the global village, while unemployment at over 90% continues to sky rocket and we face continuous little or no Service Delivery in Education, Housing, Transport, Electricity, Water, Employment. Its clear that our lack of unity and purpose, makes us the architects of our own suffering,..wake up Zimbabwe!
 
Mugabe sent his daughter, Bona who was accompanied by her husband Simbarashe Chikore to the ceremony at the National Sports Stadium in Harare.to represent him at the inauguration ceremony, and stated “Your Excellency, thank you for your invitation to me and my wife to attend the inauguration ceremony. My wife is not well in Singapore and also I am not well. So I am sending my daughter and her husband to represent us. Hearty Congratulations!”
On Saturday, MDC Alliance leader Nelson Chamisa told the press, “It is a constitutional option (demonstrations) and very viable. We have demonstrated two or three times successfully without any problems. We just want to put mechanisms to make sure that we don’t have people who come and disrupt our programme. I can tell you we have the right to demonstrate. This is going to be one of the routes which we are going to take among others.
 
“Victory can’t be certain twice, victory was certain before election and secured during the Election Day. We won, what we are doing now is protecting that victory; we will continue to pursue democratic means to make sure that result is respected. We cannot afford five more years in this kind of hardships, people want answers.”
 
Nelson Chamisa added that, they are ready to sacrifice their lives in defending people’s votes.
 
“They think that perhaps they will intimidate people like myself but I am dead already, by merely challenging dictatorship you have signed a death warrant so they can’t kill me twice. We are very clear and we are not going to be intimidated that’s why we are ready for any eventuality they can’t run the country by terror.
 
“The legal door is not the only door to happiness and democracy, there are many other doors, and the political doors are going to be opened very soon using our Constitution. We have the right to peaceful
