Freedom Of Expression- ‘Zuma Must Fall!’ Billboard Erected In Capetown, South Africa
In Africa, not all rights go beyond the paper they are written on but, one can safely argue that, Freedom of expression has reached a new level in South Africa, after a prominent “Zuma Must Fall” billboard was erected in the heart of the city of Cape Town in South Africa on Friday morning.
It is yet to be established as to who erected the bill board but an opposition group, the Democratic Alliance, which constantly demanded for President Jacob Zuma’s impeachment is allegedly rumoured to be a potential culprit of this ‘drama’.
However it is also reported that South Africa’s DA national spokesperson Phumzile van Damme has said the Democratic Alliance are not responsible for the controversial bill board’s presence on a prime, costly advertising space, one side of an apartment block situated at the top of Long Street, on the intersection of Buitensingel street and Kloof street.
