HIRING OF CONTROVERSIAL FIGURE LUMUMBA by Muthuli as head of the newly-created Finance ministry communications committee flys in the face of downsizing the Zimbabwe civil service
Finance ministry, Mthuli had taken off on the run from the start arguing that approximately 86 percent of the Zimbabwe government expenditure is lost to the civil service and the down sizing of the government was a priority.
The hiring of Lumumba by Muthuli as head of the newly-created Finance ministry communications committee flys in the face of downsizing the Zimbabwe civil service as the Information ministry is full of communications officials who were hired to do what Lumumba was appointed to do.
William Gerald Mutumanje was previously dismissed as the chairperson of the Zimbabwe Youth Empowerment Strategy for Investment steering committee after allegedly misappropriating Zimbabwe Youth Council funds.
Several years ago, Acie, Lumumba and DJ Tichafa “Tich Mataz” Matambanadzo were dismissed by Star FM over fraud allegations. The two fraud cases involving Lumumba are still unconcluded to date.
Lest you forget he has also been outed previously with a ‘porn’ video that raised controversy nationwide and globewide, remember his regular ‘f language insult ‘ out bursts to Mugabe. This is not the image that any organisation wants to be associated with, he’s a damaged entity and not worth taking the risk that Mthuli Ncube did by drawing him into the ministry.
The reversal of Lumumba’s appointment by the Zimbabwe government is a welcome major development to Zimbabweans and the globe as having such a controversial and tarnished image can do nothing but destroy any hope of recovery of the finance Ministry by those tasked to do so,.he’s gone, now lets be serious,.wake up Zimbabwe!
