15 BULAWAYO (NUST) National University of Science and Technology students arrested yesterday for protesting at the campus.

Last week, NUST students attempted to stage a protest but were blocked by the police from protesting against the ongoing industrial action by University lecturers for a wage increas.
The students are especially worried because the lecturers have absented themselves for the past three weeks and basically students have not been learning since the beginning of the current semester.
According to the Student Representative Council president Dennis Mwashita riot police charged the campus in the morning and blocked student protest, unleashed police dogs assaulted studentse and arrested 15 students.
