ZVIMBA EAST legislator Francis Mukwangwariwa was thoroughly lashed after he was trapped in Highfields while making moves to a married woman.

The embarrassing incident happened in the early house of Thursday.

He was trapped by Thompson Rueben aged 31 after he stumbled upon a Whatsapp conversation between his wife- Pamela Zakaria and him.

Mukwangwariwa sustained a cut on his lower lip and bruises on both legs

Rueban bungled Mukwangwariwa into his car are took him to Machipisa police station.

In one of the Whatsapp conversation, Mukwangwariwa described Pamela as “wine good for me”.

Mukwangwariwa said he only wanted to help Pamela with school fees.

“Pamela approached me seeking money to pay her fees at Nyadire Teachers College and from that conversation I was made to believe that she had no Eco Cash account and wanted money leading me to get to the house in Highfield.

“In some of the conversations I used to joke with her as someone who socialises with people.

“I was promised my lovely wine”.

He claimed that upon arrival he was assaulted by Pamela’s hubby “accusing me of cheating with his wife. He quickly reacted for nothing refusing to be restrained by his relatives”.
