LESOTHO’S FIRST LADY Maesaiah Thabane has been charged with murdering her Husband, the Prime Minister Thomas Thabane’s estranged wife, Lipolelo Thabane.

The First lady, Maesaiah Thabane surrendered herself to police on Tuesday and is due to appear in court on Wednesday.

Lipolelo was shot dead outside her home in Lesotho’s capital, Maseru two days before Prime Minister Thomas Thabane’s inauguration in 2017.

The couple was involved in bitter divorce proceedings at the time of Lipolelo Thabane’s murder. Sibusiso Ngwenya
