MATEMADANDA ‘When Mugabe was alive, he refused to honour the wishes of the dead saying they cannot decide where they are buried. Now what has changed?’,

VICTOR MATEMADANDA THE ZANU-PF NATIONAL COMMISAR SAYS “When he was alive, Mugabe refused to honour the wishes of the dead saying they cannot decide where they are buried. Now what has changed?, adding “(Joshua) Nkomo, Benjamin Burombo e.t.c are all buried at Heroes Acre.
The revelation comes at a time when Zimbabwe is clearly a land whose focus is upon the dead and not the living, clearly not a surprise as to why Zimbabwe is a dead economy. Grace Mugabe speant close to a month holding onto Mugabe’s body, in protracted arguments whith Zvimba chiefs, Mugabe family, Zanu pf, and ultimately all Zimbabwe.
Just when the nation thought, finally the burial saga is over as Mugabe was buried on Saturday in a private family event in Zvimba village, a site as basic as the thousands of Ndebele gukurahundi victims who were slaughtered and thrown into caves, mine shafts, mass graves, wells, while others simply dissappeared in the early 80s, dead activists, opposition and missing activists, clearly a phase that started with a big bang on Independence 18 April 1980 and ended like the ‘nonetities’ who died under Mugabe’s leadership, butchered by Mugabe’s nephew the former Air Force of Zimbabwe Perence Shiri, but the circus is ongoing as Ex Minister and Zanu-PF politburo member Professor Jonathan Moyo says the body of Joshua Nkomo who died on 1 July 1999 and was allegedly buried at the Heroes Acre while his family wanted him to be buried next to his parents in Kezi must be exhumed from the National Heroes Acre and his remains buried at Matopos close to King Mzilikazi in Matopos, as the Mugabe family snubbed a National Heroes Acre burial for a private Zvimba rural home burial last weekend.
“With the “National Heroes Acre” soiled and confirmed as just a ZanuPF cemetery and thus permanently discredited, arguably, it stands to reason that #Matopos, where #KingMzilikazi rests, is the befitting resting place for #FatherZimbabwe. Something only a new Zimbabwe can correct!,”
Speaking before Mugabe’s burial, when his body was at the Blue roof mansion in Harare, Matemadanda said, “Now we have a coffin being opened morning, afternoon and evening like a fridge. Julius Malema (EFF leader) came and it was opened,” he said.
“Malema, an ANC reject, once said Mugabe was too old and today he is sent by G40.”
Matemadanda said the late former President has no influence on the direction of the country.
“Bob is dead and that’s it. Those who think that the governance of the country has to do with the dead, they must go to the graveyard,” said Matemadanda.
