A woman died while and six were injured,in a car accident at the 32km peg along Mvurwi-Kanyemba yesterday
One female adult died while six passengers were injured, two of which are in critical condition, when a Toyota Noah they were travelling in veered off the road before over turning at the 32km peg along Mvurwi-Kanyemba yesterday.
Eye witnesses allege the accident happened around 18:00hours and the deceased died upon admission at Guruve hospital.
“The Noah veered off the road and landed on its roof around 18:00 hours it had seven passengers on board one person died upon admission while the rest escaped with injuries and are currently admitted at Guruve hospital,” said the source.
According to police preliminary investigations the accident was due to speeding.
Acting Mashonaland Central police spokesperson Assistant Inspector Petros Masikati said he is yet to receive the case.
