ANC LEADERSHIP CHANGE: After Grace Mugabe’s controversial involvement in Zimbabwe’s politics, the family curse strikes again in Southern African politics,..interesting! After Zimbabwes recent military takeover and forced resignation of Mugabe mainly due to the economic collapse and his wife Grace Mugabe’s attempt to usurp power and be Zimbabwe’s next president, this weekend will bring change in the leadership of South Africa’s ANC as Zuma steps down and is replaced by whoever wins between Cyril Ramaphosa and Zuma’s ex wife the former AU chair Mrs Nkosazana Clarice Dlamini-Zuma. Whoever wins the ANC leadership race this weekend will be set to be South Africas next president in 2019 elections if ANC election victory is maintained.

South African media, says Cyril Ramaphosa the deputy president, a business man who led the negotiations to end apartheid rule and Uk educated Medical Doctor Mrs Nkosazana Clarice Dlamini-Zuma a seasoned South African politician who has risen from being an active anti-apartheid activist to South African politician are the leading contenders to replace Jacob Zuma as ANC president and eventually South Africa’s president
. Originally from 1994-99, Mrs Nkosazana Zuma was South Africa’s Minister of Health then under the late former President Nelson Mandela, later becoming the Minister of Foreign Affairs then under former presidents Thabo Mbeki and Kgalema Motlanthe. She later became South Africa’s Minister of Home Affairs under her ex husband President Jacob Zuma’s first term as president. Dlamini-Zuma was the African Union Commission (AU) chairperson, from 15 October 2012 to 30 January 2017
Jacob Zuma will obviously want his ex wife to win because years of scandal and corruption have followed ANC over the years leaving South Africas president Jacob Zuma with over 700 corruption charges against him in a decade as President, which could immediately investigated in full if he is not continuously protected from prosecution.

Some Zimbabweans could now be asking themselves, is this why Mugabe and Zuma were close and Grace Mugabe was granted diplomatic immunity and saved from prosecution over her assault of model Gabriella Engels but thats an issue that readers can draw their own conclusion.

Whats critical in all this is that hopefully South Africa has drawn the positives from land redistribution chaos that followed Mugabe’s controversial Zanu pf war veteran led farm invasions, the economic collapse that followed, the attempts by Grace Mugabe to usurp power and the army take over, house arrest of Mugabe and forced resignation from power of the dictator by the military in the most peaceful of all exercises with Zimbabweans and military working together.
