CHIMURENGA LIBERATION WAR was a justified act of defiance to a racist oppressive white Rhodesian regime led by Ian Smith and designed to strip blacks of all rights, and dignity by looting all their wealth and resources such as minerals , land and others. It was the final act by the oppressed masses,the rightful black majority owners in reclaiming their rights and true ownership to the land and resources in the Republic of Zimbabwe. This noble, united act by the people, was however hijacked on 18 April 1980 by the now 93 year old despot Robert Gabriel Mugabe.
Robert Mugabe has over the last 36 years in power, successfully used the sameoppressive laws and tactics used by the white regime against the blacks, to, in turn successfully oppress the masses of Zimbabwe, thereby turning the whole saga into ‘Black oppression of Blacks’. Mugabe has managed to strip blacks of all theire dignity and rights in Zimbabwe, murdered many,, tortured others, imprisoned others withouttrial and sent millions into forced exile across the diaspora in real fear for their lives, whilst others left because of a collapsed economy at the hands of the clueless Mugabe, Zim1 family, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats who dominate the Zanu pf regime.
Tsvangirais, latest utterance in an interview with South African news channel ANN7 where he stated that many crimes, acts of violence and non democratic cultures effectively turned Chimurenga liberation undemocratic, are the simplest and most honest way of describing life under president Robert Mugabe.
In principle the people of Zimbabwe were right to rise up against the oopressive white ian Smith Rhodesian regime but we cannot be expected to accesspt the ‘Black oppressors of Blacks’ regime led by Mugabe, Zim1 family anu pf stalwarts and securocrats who have milked the liberation struggle for all its worth as they continuously loot national wealth and resources in the name of Indigenisation and Black empowerment.
Such ‘posh’ terms have all, in hindsight to the people of Zimbabwe turned out to be ‘legitimised crime and corruption’ by Mugabe’s zanu pf regime.
Mugabe and his caucus have all turned out to be overnight US millionaires and billionaires through militarisation of diamond resources, multiple farm grabbing, grabbing of white owned businesses, farms and other wealth and resources, whilst using the gullible people of Zimbabwe to create an entropy which serves as thecloud cover for all illicit trade and deals that have elevated the criminal Zanu pf to a filthy rich level beyond all levels of imagination, while opposition and the ordinary street people in Zimbabwe are broke, and struggle to put foot on the table,…need I say more?
