DISCERNING EYE newzimbabwevision asks: Is it right to burdern a 93 year old man with the responsibility of looking after a nation. Zimbabwe is now under the control of a despot at an advanced age of 93. Zimbabwe’s President Robert Mugabe has been in politics for nearly 60 years and ruled Zimbabwe for 37 years so far, while swearing to continue evn beyond the grave.
In my view, this old man who spends most of his time fast asleep in his seat, maybe even farting, wetting and soiling his pants now and again, in oblivion of those around him or whats happening across the nation as he believes its all bling bling like his filthy rich fifty one year old wife first lady Grace Mugabe hoodwinks him to believe. Others believe he is tired of it all and only holds onto power because he is uncertain about his own security in his dying age as he could easily be hauled before International Criminal Courts to face justice for past crimes involving human attrocities such as the gukurahundi genocide of the early eighties.
This includes amongst many others, the gukurahundi genocide where he slaughtered at least 20,000 Ndebeles from Matebeleland and Midlands using his tribalist Fifth brigade under his nephew Perence Shiri now the Airforce Commander of Zimbabwe, and raids across Matebeleland led from and coordinated by the then commander of Bulawayo’s 1Brigade at Lwellin Barracks, Zimbabwe National Army commander General Constantine Chiwenga. The gukurahundi genocide, couldnt have been eo efficiently excecuted without the help of Zimbabwe’s first Vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa,previously the Minister of justice even up o now who was the then State Minister of Security overseeing the ruthless Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO).
A whole tribe butchered in an attempt to subjugate the Ndebele people soon after independance on 18 April 1980, in a slaughter exercise where the world sat back in silence and watched. It is obvious to the .any wonder why he is not keen on stepping down from power and likely to meet his maker, victims of his crimes or both and account for his evil deeds on earth,..you do the maths! It is obvious to DISCERNING EYE newzimbabwevision, that his acomplices in crime, Airforce Commander of Zimbabwe Perence Shiri, Zimbabwe National Army commander General Constantine Chiwenga and Zimbabwe’s first Vice president Emmerson Mnangagwa actually marked as the man to succeeed Mugabe will not sit back and watch the collapse of the criminal Zanu pf empire created by Mugabe.
This circle of evil built up millions of dollars worth of ill gotten wealth, through multiple free farms, diamonds and other minerals, businesses and a whole list of other gains including crimes for which they believe they will never be prosecuted hence Mugabe’s confidence in surrounding himself with them and posting them in charge of the nation’s security,..erm his really!
The 2018 plebiscite is certainly looking like another cosmetic show just to give the people and the international world the feeling that an election has been held and Mugabe has won,..again! Wake up Zimbabwe!…DISCUSS!…. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
