The despot 94 year old of the struggling Zimbabwe nation made the US $1 mllion to AU at a time the Zimbabwe nation id down on its knees due to mismanagement of the economy and rampant corruption by Mugabe , Zim1 family , Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats.
He alleged that his aim is to kill the donor dependency syndrome by Africans through financing the AFRICAN UNION (AU). To the Discerning eye newzimbabwevision this yet another example of how out of touch with reality the despot is.
It is a fact that infrastructure is collapsing, civil servants are regularly paid late at times several months later especially for bonuses, roads, hospitals, schools, houses aand other service delivery are inexistent yet the same man whose heartless wife Grace spent US$1,4million on a ring for Mugabe has spent so much on this organisation.
This is obviously marketing the Gushungo dairy to Africa to open up markets for his family business and keep the AU sweet and ready to step in and save his skin in case of a people revolt against him.
THE DISCERNING EYE newzimbabwevision says US $1,million could go a long way to help homeless, hungry street kids get food, shelter and clothing, build clinics and schools in rural areas, provides roads and clean botehole or piped water to rural areas, provide irrigation schemes or or livestock projects or small scale business enterprises for jobless rural communities, electrify rural areas and so many other progressive developments.
Zimbabwesns need no further evidence about where we are heading beyond 2018. In my view, it will be worse with Mugabe, Zim 1 family, Zanu pf Stalwarts and Securocrats still in power because they don’t care about the ordinary street person yet will monopolise power and readily kill to protect their ill gotten wealth including multiple farms, mines, businesses, and the country at large.
