Harare City Council suspends acting town Clerk Mrs Josephine Ncube and three other directors on allegations of US$ millions financial abuse
Along with acting town Clerk Mrs Josephine Ncube, the suspended officials, are Dr Prosper Chonzi (Health Services), human capital director Dr Cainos Chingombe, and Tendai Kwenda (Finance) accused of prejudicing Harare council of over US$3 million in unsanctioned allowances and performance bonuses, giving executives’ golden handshakes over US$6 million, looting the Traditional Beer Levy account and purchasing top of the range vehicles for themselves along with transferring council revenue to their personal accounts/ More news to follow.
