Yesterday Zimbabwe’s National Assembly was forced to prematurely adjourn when chaos reigned in the sitting as Members of Parliament in the august House debate rowed over their welfare. demanding to know when the government would give them their sitting allowances and Constituency Development Fund (CDF)
 
The former CIO Director General, Retired Major-General Happyton Bonyongwe now the new Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs moved a motion to adjourn the House after Norton Member of Parliament Mr Temba Mliswa (Independent) and Harare South legislator Shadreck Mashayamombe (Zanu-PF) came close to exchanging blows but were ejected from the chamber by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Mabel Chinomona in a most interesting session of Parliamentary developments at atime when the nation is down on its knees.
