A MATOBO woman was axed to death by two men while her two nieces who were sleeping outside their bedroom hut were stabbed and wounded by two unidentified assailants at Fox Farm Resettlement
A MATOBO woman Mrs Elita Ncube (54) was axed to death by two men while her two nieces Langelihle Ncube (13) and Eveline Ncube (25) who were sleeping outside their bedroom hut were stabbed and wounded in a horror attacked by two unidentified assailants at Fox Farm Resettlement in Matobo District.
Mrs Ncube and her nieces fell asleep outside their bedroom hut to avoid mosquitoes and her husband Mr Shadreck Ncube slept in the hut when the two unidentified men struck her with an axe on the neck and above the left eye before stabbing her nieces Langelihle and Eveline.
“The nieces screamed and one of them fled to her uncle inside the hut who then came to their rescue as the assailants fled. Mrs Ncube died from the attack and the nieces were hospitalised but they have now been released from hospital at UBH.
