The three Zanu pf stooges thought they were pulling a stunt that would place them in good favour with Mnangagwa but its worked out opposite as they have been hauled before the courts for wearing E.D Mnangagwa inscribed caps and Zanu pf regalia.
Mugabe’s cousin, the Former Finance Minister Ignatius Chombo appeared in court yesterday along with the former Zanu-PF youth leaders Kudzanayi Chipanga and Innocent Hamandishe facing criminal nuisance charges for wearing party regalia inscribed with the new Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s initials.

The trio appeared before Harare magistrate Ms Rumbidzai Mugwagwa facing criminal nuisance charges.

The prosecutor Mr Edmore Nyazamba is alleged that between December 8 and 13 in 2017 , the three expelled members of Zanu-PF. accused connived with Matthew Mleya, who is on the run, to pose in Zanu-PF regalia, took photographs of themselves wearing caps inscribed E.D and Kutonga Kwaro, and the Zanu-PF flag.

The pictures were then posted on social media, which is an act perceived by the Zanu-PF hierarchy as designed to be a nuisance to the ruling party as the trio had no right to act that way. More news to follow. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
