Mliswa said he had to enlist the services of the Zimbabwe Republic Police to be able to leave the premises.
TEMBA MLISWA@S STATEMENT reads as below:
I am at the Chinese tile factory where they have blocked my car to stop me from going out. There has been rampant abuse of workers’ rights and no one is standing up for them.

This is tantamount to being kidnapped and we can’t have foreigners coming in under the pretext of investing and trashing over our laws and dignity. Are we that desperate as a nation to be abused.
If as the legislator of the area I’m abused like this what about the workers at this Sunny Yi Feng factory. Some of our desperation is actually detrimental to progress. Why do the Chinese have so much power??
Most surprising even when police came they had to negotiate with the Chinese. How do you even have to negotiate with a law breaker without arresting him?

The Chinese have employed hundreds of Chinese general hands and labourers defeating one of the main purposes of investing by cheating locals of job opportunities. Why should we allow ourselves to be abused and used by the Chinese. Source – Byo24

www.newzimbabwevision says Mliswa is simply a drama queen regularly going to these companies when he is not a labour minister, just someone trying to divert attention from his failing uncle. Remember he is Mnangagwa’s nephew and Didymus Mutasa Nephew. Its so simple let the Labour minister and the Immigration minister deal with it. The Foreign office should be dealing with the Chinese embassy in Harare and the Chinese government who are better placed to ruthlessly deal with their criminal mationals.Temba Mliswa has an alleged record of demanding bribes and making millions for himself.
It is therefore questionable as to whether they refused to bribe Mliswa and infact Mnangagwa. We genuinely know that Zimbabwe liberation war was run by China who trained Zanla military officers and armed the Zanu pf while Russia did the same for Zapu through Zipra. Zanu Government has agreements dating back to liberation war and the Chinese are looting minerals after looting diamonds and bringing weapons for the military when they built an airport larger than Harare airport in Chiadzwa for this.
Its all to do with Mnangagwa’s Zanu pf. Remember Mnangagwa was also trained by China during the liberation war. Its all about the spoils of war for China just like the land and commercial farms for whites through the British government agreements long back. Its never about the ordinary people, case in point ordinary people dont own farms or mines. Its Mnangagwa, Mliswa and the Zanu pf ministers and regime who have all this and are the real reason why peopme ate suffering. Get rid of Mnangagea and the militarised Zanu pf regime and we will enjoy life, equality and democracy.
Its just being dramatic over what they created and have always legitimised and normalised so read into a con when we are told Norton Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa says he was temporarily detained at a Chinese firm in his Constituency when he went to check on the plight of the workers.
Mliswa said he had to enlist the services of the Zimbabwe Republic Police to be able to leave the premises.

Remember the Norton MP, Temba Mliswa was previously dragged out of parliament when he rowed with deputy speaker Tsitsi Gezi whom he accused of siding with Zanu PF MPs, after demanding a murder probe to be instituted by parliament against Zanu PF MP for Chegutu West, Dexter Nduna, who then allegedly went on to brag that he would not struggle killing the Mliswa as he (Nduna) had taken many lives. Such an open admission of murder and threats died a natural death as the two are still MPs earning and clowning around in parliarment while the ordinary people they claim to represent suffer.
Remember Mliswa as PPC chairman with Zanu PF Gokwe Kabuyuni MP, Leonard Chikomba as well as the opposition MDC’s Magwegwe and Binga MPs Anele Ndebele and Prince Dubeko Sibanda allegedly demanded bribes while investigating the Hwange Colliery Mine contract deals, allegedly demanded US$400 000 from a local businessman James Goddard, so that they could facilitate and secure him a contract with theHwange Colliery coal giant.
Lest you all forget, then Special advisor to the President, Christopher Mutsvangwa in January 2018 said Norton Constituency Member of Parliament Temba Mliswa is a criminal and charlatan riding on an anti-corruption stance to win the electorate.
“You can see Mliswa is using social media to give an impression that he is making traction when he is actually doing nothing. I want to arrest the likes of Temba (Mliswa) and nip them in the bud, because they are becoming too big for their shoes. This is the genesis and evolution of (former National Political Commissar Saviour) Kasukuwere.
“I am seeing that repeat of a character in Temba. I felt that I should come down to the National Assembly seat so that we do away with Temba before he becomes too bigheaded because he is inherently a fascist,” said Mutsvangwa.
“If we don’t arrest him now, we will later have the same problems we had with Kasukuwere and Jonathan Moyo. The best thing was to deal with him at the formative years.”
Mutsvangwa said dispensing of characters like Mliswa is very important to cleanse the country and achieve democracy.
“We don’t want young people again to become victims of Kasukuwere where the country was run by head boys in Cabinet because that was precisely the problem with the (Robert) Mugabe Cabinet.”
Mutsvanga said he feels a certain obligation for historical reasons to cleanse the political process of charlatans like Mliswa.
“Everyone in town knows that Temba is an extortionist and the British have criminal records, but he rides on an anti-corruption ticket when everyone knows he is the most corrupt person. Ask (Green Fuel proprietor) Billy Rautenbach, all the people including the white guy who lost his farm.
“I helped him when I was in China, for the Chinese to help him start Saltlakes and he spirited all the World Bank money and never repaid the debts. All these are a matter of records and now this is the man who wants to pose as the anti-corruption guru….no he is fake and a charlatan,”said Mutsvangwa.
Mutsvangwa said he doesn’t want Norton to be benighted by having Mliswa as an MP because he has nothing tangible to deliver.
Remember in 2014 he was across media including nehanda as follows: Temba Mliswa demanded US$165 million as “consultancy” fees from businessman Muller Conrad “Billy” Rautenbach.
Nehanda Radio and other independent publications reported on the story in September 2012 while the Herald and other state media outlets ignored it.
But as factional fighting within Zanu PF spills into the state media, the faction of the party led by Justice Minister Emmerson Mnangagwa and which now controls the state media is using that platform to deal with alleged supporters of the faction of the party led by Vice President Joice Mujuru.

The Mliswa scandal is said to have sucked in Minister of State for Presidential Affairs and Zanu-PF secretary for administration Didymus Mutasa, Deputy Lands Minister and Politburo member Tendai Savanhu and former chair for Manicaland province Basil Nyabadza either as mediators.
Mliswa demanded 10 percent shareholding or payment of equal value from Mr Rautenbach for linking him up with prominent politicians who enabled the businessman to establish an ethanol plant at Chisumbanje, and to clinch coal and platinum concessions at Hwange Colliery and Unki Mine, respectively.
In September 2012 Mliswa opened up about how he helped Rautenbach push through million-dollar platinum and ethanol deals by taking him from “minister to minister” and doors were opened for him.
Rautenbach at the time was facing fraud, bribery and corruption allegations in South Africa and was banned from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Mliswa claims Rautenbach hired him as a consultant “to help him with several things, amongst them to get his farm back because it had been allocated to Gerald Mlotshwa (a Harare lawyer).

“He also wanted to start the mining of coke in Hwange. He wanted to be given a concession for a thermal power station which he was going to build in partnership with ZESA. He also wanted platinum concessions,” Mliswa said.
Although Mliswa was paid US$10,000 per month, on top of an allocation for fuel, relations between the two soured. Mliswa is claiming Rautenbach is backtracking on promises he made to give him shares in some of the projects.
For example Mliswa claims he helped Rautenbach in pushing through and setting up the controversial Chisumbanje Ethanol plant, in return for a 10 percent shareholding. He said there was opposition to the deal and it only went through because he was roped in as part of an indigenisation drive.
Mliswa’s lawyers wrote to Rautenbach enquiring about their client’s promised shareholding and threatening to go to court, but the latter opted for an out of court settlement that has remained elusive.

“This (ethanol) thing won’t take off before my spirit rests. My tears are dropping. I was warned before of the sort of person Billy is. One Indian once told me; ‘never open the door for Billy, show him the door, only open when he has paid you,” Mliswa said at the time.
Rautenbach has a very controversial past. In 2008 both the European Union and the United States added him to a list of officials and companies under targeted sanctions for allegedly aiding the regime under Mugabe. In return for this financial support he was given lucrative mining and land deals.
In 2002 the UN Panel of Experts on the Illegal Exploitation of Natural Resources and Other Forms of Wealth of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, described Rautenbach as a man “whose personal and professional integrity is doubtful.”
Mliswa himself has a very controversial past.
In 2010 he was arrested and faced more than 40 charges. These ranged from contempt of court, public violence and assault to attempted murder, housebreaking and malicious damage to property.
In June 2011 he was acquitted on charges of trying to forcibly wrestle Noshio Investments, a million-dollar vehicle accessories company owned by British businessman Paul Westwood.
But in an exclusive interview with Nehanda Radio, Westwood alleged that Mliswa bribed the presiding magistrate Never Katiyo who suddenly acquired a US$12 000 car while on a US$200 a month salary.
He also alleges then Presidential Affairs Minister Didymus Mutasa , Temba Mliswa’s uncle as he is nephew to Mnangagwa and Mutasa, played a key role in the acquittal of Mliswa and his co-accused Hammarskjold Banda, Brendaly Banda, Alfred Mwatiwamba, George Marere and Martin Mutasa (Mutasa’s son).
Last year Mliswa was arrested and charged with violence after an attack on Zanu-PF Hurungwe East MP Sarah Mahoka by party youths, who were allegedly sent by him.
