MDC ALLIANCE leader, Nelson Chamisa, the MDC T leader threatens to shutdown Zimbabwe. if his demands for the Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwart , securocrat and military regime to avail a neutral ballot paper supplier are not met.

The MDC ALLIANCE leader, Nelson Chamisa, the MDC T leader has threatened to shut down Zimbabwe if his demands for the Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwart , securocrat and military regime to avail a neutral ballot paper supplier are not met. Currently, the regime is keeping the identity of the ballot paer printers, aclosely guarded secret. Chamisa, stated that the MDC ALLIANCE will not boycott elections but that they have clarified to president Mnangagwa, that there will be no election without proper ballot papers.

The problem that Zimbabwe faces, is that we keep being drawn into worrying situations by Nelson Chamisa.

MDC ALLIANCE leader Nelson Chamisa (MDC-T) was in Bedford Britain to address Zimbabweans in Shona in the UK though Zimbabwe is made up of at least 16 National languages officially recognised by the constitution

The rally was attended by a reasonably sized crowd of MDC-T supporters but the young MDC T leader was heavily criticised for failing to address the people in a language that demonstrates he has respect and recognition of the fact that Zimbabwe is made up of at least 16 National languages united around the common language of English..

The images taken show, a sizeable crowd, but I will hasten to warn Zimbabweans, that this is an irrelevant support base, typically anon event in the political arena as Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats have made it clear that there will be no external voting at embassies by Zimbabweans. They have said that if any diaspora Zimbabweans want to vote, they are free to come back to Zimbabwe and register to vote and vote.

Here the clue to why it will not happen, firstly most Zimbabweans in the diaspora were forcibly exiled by Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats , and going to Zimbabwe to register to vote and then to vote , is a minimum of two expensive flights and other costs in Zimbabwe, and even the risk of the oppressive force catching up with the diaspora fo their crimes of defiance to opressive authority.

In the view of www.newzimbabwevision.com, what Chamisa should have been selling to the UK diaspora over the weekend, was a demonstration of the MDC Alliance commitment to the diaspora vote, such as declaring, no diaspora vote, no election. However that did not happen and its funny that the same MDC Alliance wants support and funding from the diaspora, while not recognising the importance of the diaspora vote. There are approximately 6 million people based in the diaspora and if allowed to vote, they are the real game changer as they are likely to vote in the majority against Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats.

Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats are desperate to legitimise their power grab and secure a five year mandate to lead Zimbabwe for the next five years and any withdrawal by the MDC ALLIANCE from elections on the basis that they want Electoral Reforms put in place first and the diaspora vote to be facilitated, would wreak havoc into the militarised regime camp and lock any prospect of the business environment opening up. Chamisa by failing to take this route, is simply shooting himself in the foot, because he will only walk into the harmonised 2018 elections to legitimise another fraudulent Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwart, military and securocrat victory.

We are already aware that , Mnangagwa earlier this year distributed 52 four wheel drive double cabs to chiefs, and deployed over 2000 soldiers to rural areas, the Zanu pf power base, and its known that this week the government has announced that it is constructing roads to the chiefs homesteads nationwide. Itai Dzamara is still missing, over 5000 nurses were recently dismissed by VP RTD Gen Chiwenga in an employment creation scam where the government overnight turned around to say they can reapply for nursing posts, and right now, the government has promised salary reviews for teachers, to ensure they do not go on strike, yet no figures have been given.

The only thing that they have put in place in line with their mantra of Zimbabwe is open for business is the alleged fact that Mnangagwa has said that the sex enterprise is a good inv=come generator for the economy, not surprising because they have also now lowered the penalty for Dagga, Mbanje, cannabis possession and legitimised the farming of the drug. Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats are to some people, destroying the social fabric of the Zimbabwean society.

www.newzimbabwevision.com, would like to remind readers that we are here to disseminate information to the public, regardless of whether its about MDC T, MDC, Zanu pf , any opposition, leader or other and its understandable that many will be anry , however, we continuously distance ourselves from aligning with any party, because we seek to empower the ordinary street person with information that allows them to make more informed decisions and choices such as voting,…no favours!

Remember that military governments generally come into power by the gun and its folly to assume that Zimbabwe will be given the country on a silver platter by Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats. A clear warning of what we are heading towards is that BHritain, a powerful Western force, has already warmed up to Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats and are ready to roll in with full support if a legitimate regime is established through voting, Russia has already signed up multi billion dollar investment opportunities. Remember that the priority for most nations now is business investments and opportunities for their own citizens, this is business, nothing to do with Zimbabweans,..wake up Zimbabweans! The MDC ALLIANCE must not dare to walk into an obvious election loss then cry foul after losing. They must refuse to go through to election without implementing all the issues I have raised, otherwise they are simply wasting everyone’s time, and donor funds!

US and UBritain do not want Zimbabwe to either be controlled by the Chinese or the Russians, its a case of Western powers over the Eastern bloc influence , so the rush is now to help Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats and establish their authority over the Zimbabwe Republic, even though thye do not like that team. It is however amore stable and established option as compared to the feuding opposition, who afre powerless against a military regime. Wake up Zimbabwe!

To the ‘Discerning Eye, www.newzimbabwevision.com, China is a stumbling bloc to democracy and Mugabe’s controversial ‘Look East ‘policy is simply legitimised crime and corruption which the current Mnangagwa, Zanu pf and military regime will follow. Mugabe, Zim 1 family, Zanu PF stalwarts and securocrats, continuously loot national wealth by monopolising wealth and power, in the name of sovereignity. At least now he will butcher his own war veterans, while we sit back and watch,…its a free show! Mugabe Must Go!

It therefore is the ‘Mother of all stupidity!’ to insist that the wealth of informed diasporans worldwide must return home. Lest we forget, at the most difficult times and even up to now, the diaspora keeps Zimbabwe running by channelling money and resources back home and maintaining the welfare and health of remaining family and relatives.

Let us also realise that the situation in Zimbabwe would have been worse off if everyone had stayed back in the country and listened to ZBc and State propaganda from Herald and Chronicle newspapers which continuously spew false information designed to elevate Mugabe and brainwash the people, rather than follow, breaking news from credible sources such as www.newzimbabwevision.com and othere media outlets independant of the Zimbabwe regime.

The diaspora has kept Zimbabwe afloat through investments, funding families , health care and other critical business in Zimbabwe and therefore deserve to be treated with respect like equals with those back at home. Without the diaspora, its fair to say, Zimbabwe would never have lasted with peace prevailing under the oppressive Mugabe authority. It is the support of the diaspora that has kept a false economy helping Zimbabweans survive.

The diaspora wave is the ultimate weapon of defiance by the people of Zimbabwe to oppressive authority by Mugabe, Zanu pf Stalwarts, securocrats and zim1 family.

By the time we hold the 2018 ballot, every Zimbabwean born in the diaspora after the year 2000 will be eligible to vote along with those already at or above the minimum voting age by then, With an estimated 4 million Zimbabweans in the wilderness or diaspora, the majority of whom are anti Mnangagwa and his Zanu pf, the diaspora has the power to push Mugabe out of power if allowed to vote and therefore that leverage must be fought for.

Diasporans must use all influence upon international bodies such as UN, EU and countries such as UK, US and South Africa to gain the right to vote at their local embassies for Zimbabwe. as sad and as painful as this sounds, the diaspora can slow down or completely run Zimbabwe aground by stopping all support going back home through the official channels thus starve the weapon of oppression.

Instead of Chamisa threatening to shut down Zimbabwe, he must work at creating a viable election scenario and way forward for all, and that calls for calm round the table negotiations, not University of Zimbabwe student rants and violent protests.

People must realise that the chaos and corruption in Zimbabwe was deliberately created to allow the criminal Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwart, securocrat and military regime to amass corruptly gained wealth, such as mines, multiple farms, businesses ,and so forth while the people became destitute..

These criminals have amassed millions of US$ in wealth and much as we don’t like them, they prefer to have Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats stay in power, rather than risk losing their farms and loot to a constitutional government that would prosecute them for past crimes and genocides and pursue all their stolen wealth local and abroad.

In other words, if you thought Zanu pf are going soon as easily as that,…think again! Wake up Zimbabwe,..you need a plan,…..fast! Lets work together rather than fight amongst ourselves.

One way of unseating a military regime is , for the MDC ALLIANCE to sit down with Mnangagwa, the Generals including JOC and acknowledging that they did well by fighting for independance and liberating Zimbabweans, and thanking them for land redistribution, blck empowerment, assuring that that lan d redistribution, will not be reversed and only proper land autit exercises will be done to allow, multiple farm ownership to be removed and that land redistributed to deserving people on the waiting list.

These people are guilty of crimes against humanity including gukurahundi, murambatsvina, Chiadzwa , 2008 election violence, and murderous white farmer evictions. They will therefore seek assurances including immunity from prosecution for past crimes, just like what they gave Mugabe, assurance that they will not be stripped of their farms, houses and businesses, secure hefty pensions and heroes acre burial sites amongst other things.

They may still push for underhand positions such as advisory roles to the democratic government, but unless and until, these people are guaranteed such measures, no vote will ever remove them. Its only a settlement agreement or an outright war that can shift the balance of power, but we all don’t want violence, so in order to move Zimbabwe forward, the opposition ,must work out an amicable way forward with the army and stop dreaming that they will remove these people with the ballot. If anything, they are simply going to legitimise another five year Zanu pf stalwart, Mnangagwa securocrat, military and securocrat term in office, therefore stop wasting the people’s time and remove the army with a settlement, then we can all move forward.

Only fools would fail to realise that, the Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwart and securocrat regime are not going to give democrats the country on a silver platter. The message was clear, ‘Operation Restore Legitimacy’ brought them back into full control, having actually fought for Zimbabwe and liberated it as Zanu pf, and therefore, the MDC ALLIANCE needs to negotiate with these people.

Instead of Chamisa threatening to shut down Zimbabwe, he must demand Electoral reforms to be put in place, including demilitarisation of rural areas, opeing up of rural areas to opposition and activists, and voter education, liberating the media space dominated by state propaganda channels such as ZBC, bring in the UN, AU, EU and SADC election observers to monitor the elections, be transparent on the ballot printing, demilitarise Zec and other institutions, basically send the army back to barracks.

Zimbabwe is a small rich nation full of power hungry politicians. Its sad that people do not realise the true politics at play, case in point, is it normal to everyone that the MDC leader Welshman ncube and PDP leader tendai Biti, are continuously silent while Chamisa, time after time throws himself on the frontline and issues ridiculous statements, including a few days ago allegedly offering to marry his sister off to Mnangagwa, aclaim that has infuriated women, gender groups and women’s rights groups, who say it demonstrates the total lack of respect for women, gender and equality issues by Chamisa.

The point however, is that, the silence by the other two leaders is quite disconcerting because to the Discerning eye, it appears like they simply want him to destroy himself and effectively reshape their political prowess and relaunch themselves back into full power, when he has shot himself in the foot. Chamisa must demand all the changes listed above to be put into place, before walking the MDC Alliance into the election, as there is no rush for elections, lets get everything set up properly first.

Why are Tendai Biti, and Welshman Ncube who in 2013 were vocal about the need for Electoral reforms including issues I have mentioned, before any election could be held, but the late Richard Morgan Tsvangirai , just like Nelson Chamisa right now, only wanted to get into the state house, and even though, these opposition leaders and SADC had warned against participating in a flawed election exercise, Tsvangirai went on, and we all know what happened,…he lost dismally! Its time people, employ a proper analysis of the reality before them and stop throwing tantrums and abuse, but rather discuss issues in aprogressive manner and demand accountability by the MDC ALLIANCE, which is, if you want our votes, them meet us half way and press for them,..NO REFORMS NO ELECTION! DISCUSS! More news to follow. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
