The international security organisation Nato has expelled seven Russian diplomats in response to a nerve agent attack in the UK.

A total of twenty-six countries have in the past two days expelled Russian diplomats, in solidarity with the UK, confirming they are confident Russia was behind the poisoning of Russian ex-spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter, Yulia, who were poisoned on 4 March 2018 in Salsbury Britain

To date, Russia continues to deny any involvement.

Nato chief Jens Stoltenberg also stated that he would also deny pending accreditation for three Russian staff, and cut the size of Russia’s staffing from 30 to 20. More news to follow. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
