Three people died Saturday morning while 16 others were injured at Queensdale Shops along Chiremba Road in Harare, when a commuter omnibus they were travelling in hit a tree while fleeing from the Vehicle Inspectorate Department.

The injured were taken to Parirenyatwa Hospital.

Witnesses who spoke to the ZBC News expressed disappointment with the VID personnel whom they blamed for causing the accident.

Police attending the accident confirmed the death of the three and said investigations are underway. Source – zbc
