At least 30 senior police police officers from rank of Senior Assistant Commissioners who were seen as aligned to deposed former President Robert Mugabe have been dismissed.

‘SEVERAL SENIOR COPS INCLUDING including Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba, who were seen as aligned to deposed former President Robert Mugabe have been relieved of their duties’.

As typical of coup situations, senior figures aligned to a fallen leader and his regime are the the first to fall in a take over. President Mnangagwa and Vice President Rtd Gen Chiwenga have wasted no time in reducing Mugabe’s powerhouse to trash, including sending former Tertiary and Higher education minister Jonathan Moyo, and minister Saviour Kasukuwere out of the picture and establishing their power.

We have received breaking news reports from the ground that at least 30 senior police police officers from the rank of senior assistant Commissioner and above who were seen as aligned to deposed former President Robert Mugabe have been relieved of their duties.

These police officers were key in running the Mugabe Police administration under the retired Zanu pf stalwart Former Commissioner General Augustine Chihuri but they have now been relieved of their duties and in a way we can all accept that the new President Mnangagwa and Vice President Rtd Gen Chiwenga are swiftly marking their authority, establishing control and destroying any remnants of the fallen Mugabe regime by weakening every source of power for G40.

The names we have received so far are as follows axed officers are the ever prominent Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba, Deputy Commissioner Generals Shambare, Sibanda and Matibiri, Commissioners Tanyanyiwa, Bungu and Ndebele, Senior Assistant Commissioners Maenzanise. Munyonga, Guvamombe, Maenzanise, Chengeta, Masukusa, Makodza, Mlilo and Chakanyuka.
