Police And National Parks Team Arrest Eight Over Hwange Elephants Cyanide Poison

In what is a big breakthrough in tracking those responsible for the mass killing of elephants through the use of cyanide poison at watering holes at least people have been arrested by a team of Border Control Unit police and Parks and Wildlife Management.
 
A total of 23 elephants were killed in Hwange national park just last month through cyanide poisoning.
 
The group face charges relating to the possession of a dangerous substance, ‘cyanide’ without a licence, drugs and firearms along with raw ivory.
 
They are, Forget Shoko, Gift Ndlovu, James Nkomo, Stephen Moyo , Makwikwi Mujeje, all from Dete, Ngangezwe Khumalo, Thandazani Sibindi, and Phathisa Moyo,who all hail from Tsholotsho, of Dete. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
