BASIC INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE LEAVING EARTH (BIBLE) 7 OPPRESSION-‘God fights for the oppressed, weak and meek’

The weak and meek in society, whether physically, politically, gender wise, financially, spiritually, racially or other classification, will always be oppressed by rotten and corrupt systems. No one should have to accept such horrors or be subjugated by such evil amongst us. God will always fight for the oppressed, weak and meek in our society, so lets use our talents and abilities to free the oppressed from the chains of bondage by the evil amongst us. Corruption and crime lead oppression in society. We must always uplift others and never oppress others because we were all made in the image of God and are all equal before God, so , cast your sorrows on God and always remember, If God is for you who can ever be against you?. 1-‘Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you;

he will never let the righteous be shaken.l’ Psalm 55:22 .

2-‘Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker,

but whoever is kind to the needy honors God’ Proverbs 14:31

3-‘You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor,

but the Lord is their refuge’-Psalm 14:6

4- ‘5 Who satisfies your desires with good things

so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

-6 The Lord works righteousness

and justice for all the oppressed’.Psalm 103:5-6

5-‘The Lord is near to all who call on him,

to all who call on him in truth’ Psalm 145:18

6-‘ Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.’-1 Peter 5:7

7-‘Do not let the oppressed retreat in disgrace; may the poor and needy praise your name.’Psalm 74:21

8-‘He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds’ Psalm 147:3

9-‘Redeem me from human oppression, that I may obey your precepts’ Psalm 119:134

10- ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?’ Hebrews 13:6

11-‘Trust in him at all times, you people; pour out your hearts to him, for God is our refuge’. Psalm 62:8

12-‘Speak up and judge fairly;defend the rights of the poor and needy’ Proverbs 31:9

13-‘121 I have done what is righteous and just;

do not leave me to my oppressors.

122 Ensure your servant’s well-being;

do not let the arrogant oppress me.’ Psalm 119:121-122.

14-‘5 Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob,

whose hope is in the Lord their God.

6 He is the Maker of heaven and earth,

the sea, and everything in them—

he remains faithful forever.

7 He upholds the cause of the oppressed

and gives food to the hungry.

The Lord sets prisoners free’-Psalm 146:5-7,

15-‘This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. 10 Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other’ Zechariah 7:9-10

16-’12 Like a shepherd’s tent my house

has been pulled down and taken from me.

Like a weaver I have rolled up my life,

and he has cut me off from the loom;

day and night you made an end of me.

13 I waited patiently till dawn,

but like a lion he broke all my bones;

day and night you made an end of me.

14 I cried like a swift or thrush,

I moaned like a mourning dove.

My eyes grew weak as I looked to the heavens.
