Thief (23) who stole irrigation pipes from Elgine farm in Mvurwi, has died at Mvurwi hospital as a result of the assault

Shocking Tariro Madzura (23) who was battling for life at Mvurwi hospital after being assaulted for stealing irrigation pipes has died.

It is alleged Baison Mupariwa (33) of Elgine farm in Mvurwi, Mashonaland Central province and his unidentified friend are being accused of murdering Madzura.
Mupariwa is currently in police custody assisting police with investigations and his colleague is still at large.

Sources close to investigations say Mupariwa is admitting to have assaulted the deceased but did not intend to kill him.

“The accused is admitting that he assaulted the now deceased but he told us that the assault was meant to punish and not to kill, the other guy whom he was with in committing the crime is still at large but we hope we will apprehend him soon,” explained the source. by Simbarashe Sithole
