ZIMBABWE:Cry The Beloved Country -What Is The National Pledge???

The prevailing scenario in Zimbabwe is just upsetting, to say the least. The dictatorship ruling Zimbabwe conveniently chooses to ignore the growing legions of the unemployed, impoverishment, prostitution,uncontrolled child vendor labour,uncontrollable labour immigration seeking a living in other countries where they are often abused….recent Kuwaiti events are a glaring example of the ineptitude of the dictatorship.

The dictatorship has no moral responsibility and civic engagements as they are preoccupied with lining their pockets with ill-gotten wealth, The middle-class has become morally stunted to speak and act on these selfish lusts, abuse and violence by the bourgeoisie as they are too preoccupied to survive.

The dictatorship further wants total pollution of the landscape including minors in school through introduction of some pledge to replace the Lord’s Prayer. Because they are filthy rich, they afford rampant waste, unchecked self-indulgence, too little contemplation, physical and moral destruction of communities and loss of the sacred lives. They promise better future lives and not to get in the way of progress yet in fact they are the same impediments to progress.

They rape and pillage the country. They have successfully dismantled democracy and the moral and social fabric and they put themselves in a non-reality-based belief system where they want everybody to believe things are getting better when in fact they are worsening. They are morally and politically irresponsible, bedazzled by some magic, miracles and utopian dreams. They are turning people into sheep that are easily manipulated and led astray.

EVIL is not something within them but an external force and need to be vanquished, conquered and defeated. They do not see they are in fact the devils who need extermination. They exercise massive acts of violence justifying that leads to better future……really! Repression, rape, murder have become, in their view, a regrettable necessity to improve the country.

This vice of evil dictatorship must be totally exterminated for millions of people to be able to live their compassionate lives.

In this light, Religious leaders need to get out of the closet, to get off the fence and be the force of light to help dismantle this evil dictatorship. Religious leaders have the moral responsibility to reject this so-called National Pledge because it is evil.
