MDC T , WITH THE YOUTHFUL PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE NELSON CHAMISA, is on track to increase youthful representation in public office and applying mordern ideas in reviving the Zimbabwean economy

The MDC T Constitution has seconded 60 members seconded by their respective constituencies to take up proportional representation for gender and youth.
 
The Acting MDC-T spokesperson, Tabitha Khumalo says MDC T will include more youth contesting leadership positions and applying mordern ideas in reviving the Zimbabwean economy.
 
She said Zimbabwe needs to mainstream more youth and women across all decision making positions in government as part of the unavoidable generational transfer of power.
 
The MDC T youth are clearly stamping their authority by elevating their presence and dominating and directing the new political dispensation in Zimbabwe through the way councils run their affairs.
 
Parliamentary seats demand is spread across all provinces, nationwide in Zimbabwe. However the MDC T youth
will focus on local government, authorities where there are many MDC T seats in contesting the forthcoming 2018 Harmonised Elections in Zimbabwe.
 
In Harare, Youth assembly leader Happymore Chidziva is aims to contest Highfield West, and his deputy Shakespeare Mukoyi is aims to contest Kuwadzana East,which is presently held by the MDC T leader Nelson Chamisa.
 
The Harare’s 47 wards, MDC Tyouth are targetting at least 20 wards including Epworth, Mbare and Mabvuku with high profile MDC T youth leadership including Secretary General Lovemore Chinoputsa (ward 9) and Denford Ngadziore (ward 16) are targeting Harare local authority seats.
 
In Bulawayo, MDC T Youth Asembly targets 10 wards including Bulawayo South and Mpopoma-Pelandaba.
 
In Manicaland- MDC T Youth Asembly targets Mutasa South, Buhera Central, Chipinge West, Chipinge South and Chikanga-Dangamvura
 
In Masvingo, MDC T Youth Asembly targets Masvingo Central, Gutu South and Bikita West.
