Benefits include, at least 6 security personnel 2 drivers,2 private secretaries and 2 aide-de-camp officers or personnel assistance and 2 office attendants, a fully-furnished office accommodation, landline telephone and mobile,2 computers and office equipment and materials, a fully-furnished official residence at any place in Harare, a housing allowance, or payment of a lump sum equal to the value of the private residence, maximum five bedrooms, a guest wing with 3bedrooms, a study, swimming pool, 2guardrooms and 2 garages on land not exceeding 5 000 square metres. 3 domestic employees,2 gardeners, 2 cooks , 2waiters and 2 laundry persons, free medical aid, diplomatic passport, first class air and rail private travel within the country and entitled to max 4 international air private trips per year, a sedan (Mercedes Benz S500 Series, a 4×4 station wagon, and a pickup van, fuel costs covered by Government , vehicles replacement every five years, entertainment allowance , free utility bills such as water, electricity, telephone in respect of the office and official residence of the former President.
 
President Emmerson also presented a document showing Zanu pf intends to establish a media house to counter what it calls an increasingly hostile independent media. However we all know that ZBC is biased in favour of the Zanu pf, and this was proved a week later by BAZ chief executive Mr Obert Muganyura who announced that political parties are not eligible to apply for broadcasting licences as Section 8 and 20 of the Broadcasting Services Act prohibits political parties from controlling or seeking broadcasting services so they cannot provide radio or television broadcasting services. Wake up Zimbabwe!
 
In 30 days he has also militarised the cabinet, placing his accomplices in Zanu Pf plunder of Zimbabwe, Mugabe’s Zvimba nephew Perrance Shiri a.k.a Bigboy Samson Chikerema, Major Gen Sibusiso Moyo and Vice President Rtd Gen Chiwenga in cabinet.
President Emmerson Mnangagwa has stripped Vice President Kembo Mohadi of his post of Minister of defence, state security and war vetarans and allocated the post of Minister of defence, state security and war vetaransto Vice President Rtd General Constantino Chiwenga.
 
Mnangagwa is proving what I have always warned about, which is that the removal of Mugabe is no change other than bringing in Mnangagwa his long time ally from the sixties, a former Justice Minister and former Minster of state security,who as a lawyer by training, helped protect all Mugabe and generals crimes against humanity and is only being protected by the generals who are the power in Zimbabwe because he holds all information that can either be buried for ever or send them into prison for life.
 
These Zanu PF stalwarts are not going to walk away from an election loss, so, unless and until we institute free and fair election environment, monitoring by UN, AU and SADC, remove draconian AIPPA and POSA laws, open rural areas to voter education and campaigns by activists and opposition, demilitarise cabinet, demilitarise institutions such as Zec, allow voting by the diaspora Zimbabweans at embassies and other reforms, there is no point in being dragged by opposition to vote. I say so because it would simply be voting to legitimise yet another stolen election by Zanu pf, who are not prepared to lose their monopoly of wealth and power and all the loot they have corruptly amassed, such as land, businesses, mines and millions stashed in off shore accounts and friends and family accounts, while the nation crumbles under a broken economy, over 90% unemployment, no cash but just worthless bond notes (toilet paper)
 
Only a fool would fail to spot that Mnangagwa who has now set aside a presidential cabinet budget much bigger than what Mugabe had, is only designing his own retirement package by giving ex presidents hefty retirement packages. remember the Presidential Cabinet budget is not subject to audit and thats why Mugabe would regularly fly out with US$4 million per trip which he did not need to account for in terms of how much was spent, what it was used for and how much was left. All those trips were how your money was being flown out to the Far East by the Gushungo family. Mnangagwa, Zanu pf stalwarts and securocrats must all go! The real question we should all have is, if he is setting aside so much for ex presidents, how much more is going to be sidelined or wasted towards retirement packages for ex Vice Presidents, ex Ministers and other high profile figures such as Commissioners and Permanant Secretaries? This man is not doing the nation a favour by blowing all the little resources we have on rewarding those who have all these years brought misery upon Zimbabweans. The international world would have to be very stupid to blindly pump money into such   shambles, another cash card for Zanu pf.
This is why many people rightfully argue that its  better to be colonised by a foreigner than to be oppressed by your own, in this case clearly Zanu pf are  (Black oppressors of Blacks.
Lets all use this window of opportunity to go out and register to vote on the BVR system. Opposition must realise that unity is the only way to beat Zanu pf, because Zanu pf afdter the fall of Mugabe and Grace, will now again fight as a united team and that has always been their winning strategy while opposition have been broken up into childish, tribalist squabbles amongst themselves. They need to be united, unite the people and lets all fight a common evil Zanu pf. We only have one shot at victory in 2018, then we can always revert back to our corners and fight our battles in a free, fair peaceful election environment less Zanu pf. DISCUSS! By Sibusiso Ngwenya
