Mugabe, a.k.a Ngwenya models his life style upon his totem, ‘gushungo
A crocodile is a nasty reptile that has been on earth for 200 million years.,
93 YEAR OLD MUGABE’S 2003 withdrawal from the commonwealth, and latest ridiculous stance of threatening to withdraw from the United Nations, are indicative of old school mentality.
Mugabe, a man who has been in Zimbabwe’s politics for over 50 years, and at the helm of the nation as originally Zimbabwe’s prime minister, now Executive president, more like ‘life president, models his life style upon his totem, ‘gushungo/ crocodile/ngwenya,..a .nasty reptile that has been on earth for 200 million years, outlived other species including dinosaurs by 65 years.
It is, thick skinned, has a powerful set of jaws that lock on one and tear off that limp in a violent death roll before pulling their prey to an underwater cave.
Crocodiles don’t eat fresh meat but they eventually return to the underwater cave and devour rancid meat days later.
A crocodile has poisonous bile, frequently used in alcohol poison by others, goes into any battle to win and does not share its spoils,..case in point monopolisation of wealth and power by Mugabe. The reptile will sit motionless, mouth wide open and let flies accumulate in the stinking mouth before snapping shut and swallowing the flies.
For those clued up with totems in Zimbabwe’s culture it is a fact that while, Gushungos hide behind the Ngwenya surname,but the truth is Gushungo is in Zimbabwe’s culture, a ‘vagina’-fact!
What then can a man like Mugabe, an ancient relic, nasty piece of work, thick skinned and indifferent towards the people’s suffering, ruthless like a crocodile, with ideas deeply seated on old school mentality and behaviour shaped around the politics of a now ‘irrelevant and outdated struggle for independance’ do for a mordern nation like Zimbabwe?
We need to move past this phase, bring in young, fresh blood with new progressive ideas that can bring Zimbabwe back tore-engagement with the global village and the rest of the mordern world.
By virtue of what he models his thought process upon,…mugabe’s head is ‘screwed up’ big time!….Mugabe must go!
