‘Muzarabani sex worker, murdered her 3-weeks-old baby   for getting in the way of her work’.

A sex worker from Muzarabani, only identified as Alice, has allegedly killed her 3-weeks-old baby for getting in the way of her work.

The incident happened last night (Thursday).

Eyewitnesses claim that she grabbed the baby’s throat.

A source familiar with the situation told Bulawayo24 that the accused told her colleagues that the baby was “unplanned as it came from a burst condom and that she did not know the baby’s father.”Alice is in police custody assisting them with the investigation.

The baby is yet to be taken for a postmortem.

Cases of murder are on the increase in Mashonaland Central and police are doing awareness campaigns to curb the trend.
