PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP) is not happy with Joice Mujuru’s Zimbabwe People First (ZimPF) dangling party positions to its members

A senior member of the People’s Democratic Party Vince Musewe has said his party is not happy with the manner in which a coalition partner, the ZimPF is dangling position to its members which has seen some of its top members defecting to the Joice Mujuru led party.

Recently 20 PDP members were reported to have left the party to ZimPF. Party’s Vice President Samuel Sipepa Nkomo was also reported to have joined ZimPF.”PDP not impressed by the dangling position to its members by ZIMPF. We sent negotiators and they end up being woed. How then can u carry on to discuss coalition without building trust first,” Musewe said.

“It’s politics will be the typical response and therein lies the problem. If there is no integrity and principles now imagine what would happen if these people get into power. We must never recreate Zanu PF values. Good sounding promises and policies are useless if they are not underpinned by good values. We need to change the game of politics and elections leaders who respect agreements leaders who have integrity and leaders who put the country first and not their selfish political interests. How can we ever fight Zanu PF together if we do not trust each other? Let those who have ears hear!” By Stephen Jakes. source-byo24
