The Law Society of Zimbabwe has barred 35 lawyers from operating after they failed to renew their practising certificates while others are facing disciplinary action or have abandoned the practice. Justices Chinembiri Bhunu and Felistus Chatukuta, seating as the Legal Practitioners Tribunal, deregistered Harare lawyer Bruce Beven Mujeyi after several cases of malpractice were referred by the Law Society of Zimbabwe.
