NELSON CHAMISA THE MDC-T acting president, told tens of thousands of MDC T party followers yesterday that he will quit politics if President Emmerson Mnangagwa wins the 2018 elections….INTERESTING!

He announced this while addressing mourners at the funeral of the late MDC-T leader, Richard Morgan Tsvangirai at Humanikwa village, in Buhera, but others are saying he might live to regret his utterances if Mnangagwa wins as people will still expect him to pack and go as promised no excuses,.

Zimbabwe’s former Education Minister Senator David Coltart has said turning a blind eye on violence was the root cause of the split that rocked the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) in 2005.

He said on Twitter that turning a blind eye to violence & intolerance is a root cause of the split in the original MDC in 2005, adding that violence is a disease created by years of violent rule by Mugabe’s ZANUPF which has infected the opposition. According tgo Coltart, some MDC T leaders have toyed with the use of violence , but it always comes back to haunt them.

However, MDC-T spokesperson Obert Gutu has decided to disassociate himself with MDC –T labelling the party an organisation that advocates for violence and thuggish behaviour…more news to follow. By Sibusiso Ngwenya
