THREE MARONDERA MUNICIPALITY FIREFIREFIGHTERS were seriously injured on Sunday night when the driver lost control and their fire tender veered off the road and crashed into a precast wall.

The fire engine was racing to a house fire in Cherutombo high-density suburb in Marondera when the new fire engine was severely damaged on the Exhibition Showground wall along Ruzawi Road.
