‘Prophetic Healing And Deliverance (PHD) prophet Walter Magaya, arrested for rape of MSU student’
The Founder of the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance PHD ministries prophet Walter Magaya, was arrested on Friday night and locked up overnight at Rhodesville police station over ‘rape charges’
The claimant is 25 year old ‘Petronella Donodzo Mandaza’, a Midlands State University in Gweru, student doing a Masters degree in Marketing.
The alleged rape occured at No 22 Colt Road in Mount Pleasant Harare, after the complainant a former Prophetic Healing and Deliverance PHD member accepted an invite by the founder of the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance PHD ministries prophet Walter Magaya, who allegedly raped the complainant and did not use any protection.
The ‘Discerning Eye, newzimbabwevision recently published reported news that Angela Charakupa a Prophetic Healing and Deliverance PHD ministries member, had alleged to courts that the (PHD) prophet Walter Magaya had used and dumped her after originally promising to marry her and purchase luxuries including a car and flat for her which all never materialised hence her claim that his promises were all false. Angela Charakupa was suing the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance PHD ministries for US$500,000 in damages.
A business couple ‘Upenyu and Blessing Mashangwa’ gave the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance PHD ministries, prophet Walter Magaya with expensives car and cash under the understanding that prophet Walter Magaya’s prophecy about them eventually owning an airline would materialise, but unsurprisingly so, it never did, hence they were suing Magaya for US$2 million.
The Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) prophet Walter Magaya, had also previously splashed US$50, 000 in purchasing a book about the Zanu PF Dictator, Mugabe’s wife, First Lady Grace Mugabe’s memoirs.
As if this staunch Zanu PF leaning is not enough, Prophetic Healing and Deliverance (PHD) prophet Walter Magaya, at a time when the nation was up in arms against the oppressive Mugabe, Zim1 family, Zanu PF stalwarts and securocrats over the introduction of controversial bond notes in place of much needed cash went as far as claiming that he is 500% sure that the despot Zimbabwe President Robert Gabriel Mugabe is corruption free and the only one capable of cleaning up the rot,…yeah right!
In typical Zanu PF style where, Mugabe has no life time friends, was reportedly arrested on Friday nigh and locked up overnight at Harare’s Rhodesville police station by police and his arrest is logged in the detention book as number 453/16 at at 23:42 .
The news doing the rounds in the grapevine is that Magaya’s arrest was instigated by the President Robert Mugabe who reportedly issued a directive to that effect. The ‘prophet will appear in court soon.
To the ‘Discerning Eye’, Magaya’s over zealousness in making himself popular by purchasing Mugabe’s wife’s memos for US$50,000, aligning himself with foreign investors and embarking on a nationwide scheme to build 26000 homes over the next 7 months including 5000 in Bulawayo, is, in a sense upstaging Mugabe and has now raised eyebrows. Overnight he could easily fall from grace to total direpute just like what happened to Muyaradzi Kereke the Zanu PF Bikita West MP who recently joined Robert Gumbura at Chikurubi Maximum prison, both in for rape. Chikurubi is certainly beckoning to all rapists, irrespective of who you are or how much millions of unaccountable wealth in US$ that you have or who you are connected to.
In this case Magaya is swiftly becoming a threat, not only to Mugabe’s domestic but also to his political and wealth status,…big mistake! Popularity or a threat to Mugabe’s domestic situation is never a safe zone in Zimbabwe as it swiftly earns you an arrest once your ‘filed away crimes’ are brought up by the state once you are a marked individual, you are finished,..ask the late businessman Peter Pamire and Madzibaba Border Gezi,…need I say more!…By Sibusiso Ngwenya.
