ACCIDENT 2000 DEAD IN ELEVEN MONTHS: 11 DEAD-Eleven people died this evening after two commuter omnibuses collided head on in Murehwa along Harare Nyamapanda road. In just 11 Months so far in 2018, marking a traditionally bloody start to Zimbabwe’s festive season from December 15 to January 15, 2019. So far in 2018 a total of 2000 people have died in road accidents in Zimbabwe. More news to follow.

Victims  bodies were taken to Murehwa Hospital mortuary and the injured taken to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals in Harare after a  commuter omnibuses had a tyre burst and encroached onto the lane of an oncoming omnibus, causing a  head-on collision and the death of ten adults and one child. Police are yet to determine victim names and thenumber of passengers who were on board each kombi.
